The beautiful city of Cape Coral is again looking beautiful. We have experienced some tough times after the building bust. I was just reading the Cape’s quarterly update “On The Move” and there are a lot of good things going on. The Army reserve is coming and will help us grow. The VA Clinic is on tract and will have a big impact on our growth. The budget has been approved to hire a second customer advocate to help new business navigate the permitting maze. This should increase our business base. Exciting.
Also, the things that make our lifestyle in Cape Coral “the best place to live city” have been protected. Cape Coral has one the best Art’s programs around. You can learn anything from watercolor, to glass fusing to almost any art form. We also have fitness programs for all ages. There are wildlife festivals, sunset festivals, art festivals, motor cycle bike nights, native plant sales, kayak tours, Sun splash water park (I look forward to the family coming every summer so I can go; it’s my excuse). There are tennis courts, a wonderful beach, fishing pier, boat ramps, and waterfront restaurants.
Our volunteers keeping the Cape Clean and mowed; Thanks! We are looking good Cape Coral.
Did I forget the weather? WOW what a beautiful spring we are having. 70 to 80 degrees. Got to Love It. I’m going to go play golf. Yeah, that’s today’s event. Have Fun Cape Coral.

Cape Coral Is Looking Good
Saturday, March 12th, 2011Only State In The Union Without SNOW!
Wednesday, January 12th, 2011The only state in the Union without snow! If I were you I’d head to SW Florida as soon as you shovel your way out. I am watching the today show and Connecticut, Mass. and New York are getting hammered yet again. Atlanta is finally getting around. While you are home trying to stay warm and dreaming of SW Florida, call us and make that dream of palm trees and blue skies come true.
We have sunshine, blue skies and oh yeah, NO SNOW!
The prices are right. Cape Coral waterfront or off water homes are unbelievably affordable. Fort Myers has wonderful communities sporting golf, over 55 active, or just living the Florida life style. The choices are varied and again prices you won’t see again.
Today we watched across the street from our house a young osprey take flight for the first time. Wow, what a fun experience. If you want to know where all the birds go in the winter, just come to Florida.
Are you affected by the winter blues? Does the lack of sunshine and color affect your mood? Well, it used to make me grumpy when I lived in Pa. and Md.. Finally we moved to sunny Florida and the blue skies, blooming flowers in winter and it is a WOW.
So what are you waiting for? Give us a call and find out why this is such a great place to live, work and play.
Fastest Growing City! Cape Coral, FL
Thursday, October 21st, 2010Cape Coral and Fort Myers No Oil
Monday, August 9th, 2010The Forbidden Zone of SW Florida. We in SW Florida are located in the best place possible in Florida. The #1 concern today is over the Gulf Oil spill. But, we are looking very good. Not only does the Gulf loop current stay away from our shore, BP has the leak under control and is cleaning the water.
I didn’t know until recently that their are organisms in the water that feed on the oil. Over time this helps dissipate what is not picked up.
We’ve Come A Long Way Baby
Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009We all know the story of Cape Coral’s early years. There were a lot of brave people that came to the “promised land”. They fought off mosquito’s and lots of growth issues with very little money and look at us now.
We went from the “fly um, wine um and sign um” to beautiful waterfront wonderland and back again to national news of the highest number of foreclosures in the country.
Ok, I know there were problems of overbuilding, over spending by government and the housing debacle which has brought this city to its knees. But, I think the worst is over and new people are making Cape Coral home. They have new ideas and positive expectations of their future here in Cape Coral.
The vacant homes are being sold and filled with new residents that are neighbors, tax payers, shoppers and volunteers. We still have blue sky, palm trees, pelicans, eagles, borrowing owls, tropical breezes and the Publix bakery. It’s still Paradise!
